The XH-S6-PRO smart gate controller offers a more flexible alternative. Designed to upgrade existing gate and switching systems, it combines WiFi, Bluetooth and RF control in one compact device—without requiring an additional gateway.

One Controller, Multiple Ways to Control

With 2.4GHz WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0, the XH-S6-PRO works as a WiFi gate controller for remote access through the XHouse IoT app. When WiFi is unavailable, Bluetooth provides local control within approximately 10 meters.

It also retains support for 433.92MHz RF remote controls, allowing existing remote-control systems to remain in use. Depending on the RF version, the system can learn fixed-code or rolling-code remotes, with rolling-code management supporting up to 256 remotes and access validity settings. This makes it practical for shared residential properties, rental homes, property management and commercial facilities where temporary access may be required.

Instead of replacing every existing remote, property managers can continue using the established RF control system while adding app-based access for selected users. This creates a smoother transition from conventional gate control to connected access management.

Smart Control Without Replacing the Existing System

The controller uses a dry-contact relay output, making it suitable for gate control boards with OPEN, push-button or similar signal inputs. It can be integrated with garage doors, driveway gates, sliding gates, swing gates and access barriers, as well as other equipment controlled by a switching signal.

This approach allows installers to add smart functionality without replacing the main gate opener or motor control board, helping simplify upgrades while keeping the existing access system in service. It is particularly useful for retrofit projects where the existing gate hardware is still reliable but users want more convenient remote access.

More Than Remote Opening

A conventional remote or smart receiver may only send an opening command. The XH-S6-PRO can also provide gate status feedback when connected to a magnetic contact or limit switch. Users can check whether the gate is open or closed through the app and receive notifications when a gate remains open for a preset period.

The controller also supports scheduled tasks, countdown control, device sharing and temporary access permissions. Up to 16 scheduled tasks can be configured, making it useful for recurring access requirements in homes, offices, rental properties and managed entrances. Shared access can also be assigned for specific users or periods, making everyday access easier to manage.

For example, a property owner can provide temporary access to tenants or service personnel without handing out permanent credentials. Offices and managed properties can also use time-limited access to make routine entry more organized.

Connected to the Smart Home Ecosystem

The XH-S6-PRO supports Android and iOS devices through the XHouse IoT app and works with Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa and IFTTT for voice control and automation. This allows gate access to become part of a wider smart-home or property automation setup.
